Poly-exposure

In opposition to the Microcurrents series, which is abstract and unmanipulated, this group of photographs are figurative and have two exposures overlaid on top of one another. The added elements are significant tonally and symbolically. The skin of the figure often appears scarred, rendering it in a different context when viewed up close. The ongoing series explores aging, dysmorphia, and vulnerability.
